Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary is situated near Asola village in Tughlakabad New Delhi. The area of this place is near about 32.71 Sq. km which is divided into four manmade visiting places. The first one is Asola Bhatti wildlife sanctuary, second cycling track, third one is Butterfly Park and then a big nursary which is full of medicinal plants and some rare species of plants.
Today I started with Butterfly Park, I took a ticket of 10/- per head and parked my vehicle in parking area and the guard took 10/- for parking charges. The entrance gate has two big artificial butterflies engraved on the iron gate. I felt so much of positivity as I entered there. There are narrow roads which are covered with red stone dust which gives a village look to the par.
My curiosity kept on increasing as I started looking at the wide variety of flowers, plants, and trees. Then I saw a place which was artificially designed with butterflies or we can say a selfie / photoshoot point.
I took three to four rounds so that I can click pics of butterflies but I was unlucky. At the time of exiting we saw two butterflies in this park, they were flying so fast that it was hard for me to capture them. I kept my mobile aside and enjoyed them wavering on plants. If you feel tired then you can sit on the innovative benches which are made for people to relax. Besides all the sitting arrangements, the park has two wooden bridges which make the park attractive.
There is a nursery also which has number of samplings of medicinal plants, some rare plants which looks so organised and well planned.
These two areas can be covered easily by walking but the for visiting wildlife you need to bring your own four wheeler as there is no such arrangement from the government. It is a kind of mandatory part to visit the wildlife and the lake. There is also a cycle track where you can enjoy riding your bicycle or you can borrow from there also.
Here some astonishing videos which I have shared on my social media.
Instagram : A long series of bamboo trees.
Facebook : A big long alive snake.
Don't forget to visit this place so that you can get some peaceful environment from your hectic schedule.
