Hindu Mythology is full of life lessons and the characters in the past played a pre-defined roles for leaving a history behind them . As an effort to lime light few of the characters from the history in a sequence of A to Z.
Here are the links
: Tarkasur was a demon who did tapasya for number of hundred years. Finally Lord Brahama was impressed by his rigorous tapasya and asked him to wish a boon. Then he wished that he should be more stronger than your creation. and second boon was that he wanted to be killed only by Lord Shiva's son. Later on Kartikey, Son of Lord Shiva, killed him.
Uddhav was the friend and cousin brother of Lord Krishna. He was also his advisor. After Krishna, Uddhav spread the knowledge he got from Krishna on Earth till his death.
: Vidur was the central character of Mahabharata. He was the son of Ved Viyas (Niyogi). Due to his intelligence, he got the post of Prime Minister of Kuru Kingdom.
