2020, leaving with lessons #SpeakeasyWithRuchiNDips

1st January 2020, the day we all welcomed a leap year and all those people were more excited who got the exact day for their birthday celebration. Many people had decided their resolutions and goals.
Initially, all had been going  well but later heard  some breathtaking news from China, it was Covid-19.
And within 30 to 50 days, this disease started showing its effect in India, and for stopping the disease our PM imposed lockdown in the country.  Cases were increasing, and lots of people lost their lives, and fear of unseen enemy in the people was increasing.

We all are going through a difficult phase of life which we will remember till the end of our time. Maybe the pandemic is still on its high wave but yes, the year 2020 is ending with life lessons.
2020 is one of the memorable years of my life, although it is full of negativity but I have learnt different ways for staying happy, positive, and hopeful.

1. Acceptance: Initially, I was very happy staying at home without any office work. I was unaware that a drastic change will come to my working lifestyle. Internet is my choice for entertainment, but now it is my necessity. I accepted the new way of working online and learnt lots of things, which not only I learnt first and then gave training and finally implemented. This acceptance made me a strong learner and leader.

2. Enhanced knowledge: This year, I learnt many new things which enhanced my knowledge. I implemented the knowledge  in my work. I have improved myself and appreciated too because what I did that was the big task for me. Pandemic has taught us in this way also.

3. The New normal: We all have learnt the new normal which is now our necessity. We learnt that why it is important to keep our surrounding area clean and motivate others so that they can also maintain cleanliness.

4. Health is Wealth: We are running after the money for the sake of cosy life, without taken care of our own health. This is wrong which is proved by this pandemic, Health is the main wealth, not money. We need to understand the requirements and deficiencies of our body. An active and healthy  body improves your mental health.

5. Family Values :  I personally felt that I am avoiding my family for my professional life. After lock down, I got the chance to stay with my family and built good memories by long chit-chat, good food, in-house party, kitchen time, movie time and many more activities which filled up the gap between us.

Period of hard  days taught us to stay calm and need to be a healthy person. We all came to know that nature could be harmful if we don't follow its rules. If we care our nature then it will return the same. Otherwise, it has the number of ways to make us realize that we are crossing our limits. This pandemic is not just from a virus which came only in 2020 but actually it is that creepy thing came out from our mess that we have been creating on Earth since long. The two things that we are doing,  harming natural resources and human relationship.
Vaccine of this virus may take some time but actually we need the power from those natural resources which we are avoiding, and lockdown made us realize that family always come first. This virus stopped all the sources of income initially to increase the source of love for family.

Adieu to 2020 may not be that cheerful but yes, 2020 taught us a lot which actually embossed in our mind and heart. Learn from mistakes otherwise TIME will make you realize.

  7. 2020 is surely is filled with lessons. I agree that acceptance is the key to all the changes around the world. And setting the priority was the key aspect in this pandemic, where we all learnt to keep health on top and showcased the compose behaviour.
